If you installed the Macadam app in one country and then moved to another, you may notice that your currency settings and certain features remain linked to your original installation country. Currently, it is not possible to transfer your account settings or change your currency to match your new location.
Why this happens
The currency and several Macadam account settings are permanently tied to the country where you initially installed the app. This ensures compatibility with local offers, cashback rates, and payment methods specific to that region.
Your options
If you've moved to a new country, you have two choices:
Create a new account: Uninstall and reinstall the app to create a fresh account in your new country. This will update the currency and provide offers relevant to your current location.
Continue with your existing account: Keep using your original account with the previous country's currency. You can still use your accumulated coins and enjoy rewards, but they will remain in the original currency.
Important note: Coins and rewards cannot be transferred between accounts.
