What happens if I move to a new country?

If you installed the Macadam app in one country and then moved to another, you may notice that the currency or certain features remain linked to the original installation country. Currently, it is not possible to transfer your account settings or currency to a new country.

The currency and some of your Macadam account settings are tied to the country where the app was initially installed. This ensures compatibility with local offers, cashback rates, and payment methods. For now, these settings cannot be changed after the initial installation.

If you find yourself in this situation, here are two options to continue enjoying the Macadam app:

  • Reinstall the app and create an account in your new country to update the currency and offers.

  • For your Macadam account before the country change, you can use your accumulated coins and enjoy rewards in the original currency. Coins cannot be transferred to a new account.
