What is a booster?
A booster is a multiplier that you activate whenever you want. While it is active, it multiplies the Coins you earn from some activities in the app. Depending on the booster, your Coins are multiplied by x2, x4 or x10. The multiplier and the duration are always shown on the booster before you activate it.

How can I get a booster?
Buy one in the Boosters section: as a booster pack paid with real money and, depending on your account, with Coins. Booster packs also give you crowns 👑. Learn more in Buying booster packs in Macadam.
Booking cashback offer: book your stay through Macadam and receive boosters with your reservation.

Map events and promotions: some rewards are boosters. Learn more in Map events.
🎁 Your boosters never expire. They stay in your inventory until you decide to activate them.
Where can I see my boosters?
On the home screen, tap the booster icon ⚡ at the top of the screen.
Under My items, you'll see all the boosters you can activate.
Tap the clock icon to see your booster history: past boosters, their status and the Coins earned with each one.
How do I activate a booster?
Tap Activate on the booster you want to use.
Your booster is active right away, for the duration shown (for example 1 day).
On the home screen, the booster icon shows the time left and the "Validate my steps" button shows your multiplier.
💡 Only one booster can be active at a time. Your other boosters wait in My items: you can activate the next one as soon as the current one ends.
When do I receive my bonus Coins?
While your booster is running, you can follow the bonus Coins you earn in the booster details. They are added to your balance when the booster ends.
ℹ️ Good to know: Booking boosters are the only boosters that need a validation. Their bonus Coins stay locked until Booking confirms your stay. Once it is confirmed, tap Claim to add them to your balance.
What are the statuses of a booster?
Status | What it means |
Available | You can activate the booster. |
Active | The booster is running. |
Finished | The booster has ended and its bonus Coins have been added to your balance. |
Pending | Booking boosters only: the booster has ended and is waiting for Booking's confirmation. |
To claim | Booking boosters only: Booking confirmed your stay. Tap Claim to get your bonus Coins. |
Claimed | Booking boosters only: your bonus Coins have been added to your balance. |
Cancelled | The booking was cancelled or the purchase was refunded. The booster can't be used. |
Do I get notified?
Yes! You receive:
A notification when you get a booster
A banner while a booster is active, to follow your bonus Coins
A notification when your Booking bonus Coins are ready to claim
What happens if a booster is cancelled?
A booster is cancelled when your Booking reservation is cancelled or rejected, or when a booster pack is refunded. A cancelled booster can't be used and its bonus Coins are not added to your balance.
