The Macadam extension for Safari spots cashback offers while you shop online on your iPhone. Activate an offer in one tap, shop as usual, and earn Coins on your purchase. 🛍️
📱 The extension only works in Safari on iPhone and iPad, and you need to be signed in to the Macadam app on the same device.
How do I install the extension?
Open the Macadam app and go to the Deals tab.
Tap the Install Safari extension banner, then Take me to Safari.

Step 1: Turn on the extension
In Safari, tap the page menu icon at the bottom-left of the address bar (not the "•••" button).
Tap Manage Extensions.
Turn on the toggle next to Macadam.
Step 2: Allow Macadam on every website
Macadam now appears in the menu with an orange alert ⚠️: one permission is left.
Open the page menu again and tap Macadam.
Choose Always Allow…
Then choose On Every Website.
ℹ️ Good to know: iOS shows a standard message saying the extension can read web pages. This is needed so Macadam can spot offers on store websites.

On iOS 18 or older
The steps are the same, but you start from the Aa icon in the address bar instead of the page menu. Tap Aa, then Manage Extensions, and turn on Macadam. Then tap Aa again, tap Macadam, and choose Always Allow… and On Every Website.
Can't find the menu or the toggle?
You can also turn on the extension from your iPhone settings:
Open the Settings app.
Go to Apps › Safari › Extensions › Macadam.
Turn on the extension and allow it on all websites.
💡 Tip: if you use several devices (an iPhone and an iPad, for example), turn on the extension on each one.
How do I earn cashback when I shop?
Go to a partner store in Safari.
When the Macadam card appears, tap Activate offer. You come back to the store automatically.
Accept the store's cookies and complete your purchase in the same Safari tab.
On partner stores, a small coin tab stays at the edge of your screen. A green check means your offer is activated. Tap it anytime to see the offer details.
⚠️ Important: to make sure your purchase is tracked, don't switch to another browser or app before paying, and avoid using an ad blocker or another cashback extension at the same time.
When do I get my Coins?
After your purchase, it shows up as pending in your balance, usually within a few days.
Your Coins are confirmed once the store validates your order, after its return period. This can take a few weeks.
