📩 What is a Magic Link?
A Magic Link is a secure, one-time link sent to your email that lets you access your Macadam account instantly, no password required.
Whether you're creating a new account or signing in to an existing one, the process is the same.
Important: Magic Link emails are system-generated and will reach you even if you've unsubscribed from marketing emails. They typically arrive within seconds and should not go to spam
.
💡 Can't find it? Check your Spam or Promotions folder just in case.
🚀 How It Works
1. Enter your email
On the login or sign-up screen, enter your email address and tap Continue.
2. Check your inbox
You'll see the Verify your email screen with two helpful options:
Open my inbox : Opens your default email app automatically (if available on your device)
Resend email : Sends a new Magic Link if needed (cooldown period applies)
3. Find and tap the Magic Link
Look for an email from Macadam with the subject line:
"Your Magic Link to log in" (returning users), or
"Welcome to Macadam" (new users)
Tap the unique login link inside the email.
⏱️ Note: The link expires after a short time and is tied to your device for security.
4. You're in! 🎉
After tapping the link, you'll return to the Macadam app automatically.
A Success screen will appear briefly (~3 seconds), then you'll be taken to:
Onboarding (new users), or
Home screen (existing users)
⛔ The Link is opening Play Store instead of Macadam app
For Android Users : If the link is redirecting you to Google Play Store instead of Macadam app, this means that the option to open Instant Apps links is disabled on your phone. Here are the steps to enable it :
Open your phone Settings
Click on Apps
Click on Default Apps
Click on Opening links
Ensure that "Instant Apps" option is enabled
⚠️ Didn't Receive the Email?
If the Magic Link doesn't arrive within 2–3 minutes:
✅ Check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folders
✅ Tap Resend email on the verification screen
✅ Ensure you entered the correct email address
🔁 Still Having Trouble?
If you've checked spam and resent the email but still can't access your account, here are your options:
✨ For new accounts:
Sign up with Google : Create your account instantly using Google
Sign up with Apple : Create your account securely using Apple ID
Contact Support using the option available in the app
👋 For existing accounts:
Double-check that you're using the same email address you signed up with
Try the Resend email option one more time
Contact Macadam Support using the option available in the app
